October Figure Drawings

Recent Figure drawings Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils on layout bond. I also got to try Kirk's buttery red chalk pencils on some of these. I noticed a slight difference in my drawings just by switching to something other than the usual Conte and newsprint combo.

For a while I enjoyed smooth newsprint surface, now I kind of like the slightly rougher surfaces like layout bond. Interestingly the cost for 500 sheets of newsprint is about the same as 50 sheet of layout bond. I wonder if the huge bond rolls might be a cheaper alternative, although I don't like paper in rolls.

awesome Khang! lookin' solid. Like the second one. you should try the bond paper they sell by the door in the student store. also the biggie sketch pads go on sale for $10 sometimes at blicks and swains
